Part of Vans’ latest ‘Skate Classics’ collection and the first signature colourway for Canadian team-rider Breanna Geering, these deep-burgundy Vans Skate Old Skools are designed to provide a performative wear regardless of skate style. Styled with advancements on the OG silhouette, new side-wall finishes, an integrated heel shank and a moulded heel counter combine to provide a comfortable and resilient day-on-day skate. Updated DURACAP underlays, two-part tonal foxings and a StickSick rubber compound ensure an improved sense of structural stability, with the luxe-like cracked suede uppers pairing well with the brushed-back tonal overlays for added textural depth. Vans’ iconic Waffle tread outsole makes light work of any challenging terrain, whilst the recessed 7-eyelet lacing system secures the strap-down tongue across the natural arch of the foot with ease. Jet-black sidewall stripes complement the colour-matched midsole and outsole with collection-exclusive checkerboard flag-label detailing mirroring the updated ‘Off the Wall’ heel-scabs. A tri-tone silhouette with a darkened allure, signed off with debossed female-character heel brace detailing in honour of Geering’s pioneering persona.
