Vans Rowan Pro Shoes

Designed in collaboration with California based pro rider Rowan Zorilla, this monochrome colourway in the appropriately named Vans Rowan Pro features synthetic uppers with protective suede overlays and DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays and triple stitching on the toe piece for an impressive level of durability. The black lace up fastening contrasts the lighter tone uppers whilst matching the tongue and inner edge of the ankle which have been padded for all day comfort. A collaborative woven label wraps around the top edge of the tongue whilst below the outer side stripe a smaller woven tab label presents signature ‘Vans’ lettering. Around the back of the heel an additional panel of suede strengthens a key abrasion area and a branded rubber heel strap adds further character. Inside the shoe a soft fabric lining runs throughout alongside responsive PopCush footbeds. A ‘sick stick’ grippy runner compound has been added to the outsole for improved traction and longevity whilst underfoot a classic Waffle tread pattern completes the design.

Arguably one of the most naturally talented skateboards Vans has ever come across, Rowan Zorilla has captured the attention of the industry through his ability to skate a bowl just as well as he can skate a 12-stair rail, switch and regular. Having been awarded his first official pro model last year, a variety of colour variations have been introduced which capture Zorilla’s own personal style and performance requirements that ensure suitability for a variety of terrains and skate styles.
