Constructed with a vulcanised rubber outsole and smooth black suede uppers, these New Balance Numeric 288S Shoes use a selection of high quality fabrics paired with minimalistic branding to achieve a low key, premium finish. Curved grey top stitching wraps over the toe vamp whilst black leather ‘N’ emblems sit on either side of the foot as a signature detail. The tongue is made from canvas with a black perforated leather overlay that features white ‘New Balance Numeric 379’ lettering at the top edge. Black laces keep the tongue in place and a mesh lower half increases ventilation during all day skate sessions. The top lace eyelet has been punched into a leather border that continues around the back of the heel and has been cut away to reveal a sturdy textile panel on either side of the heel. Throughout the inside a burgundy mesh lining runs throughout alongside an Abzorb sockliner. An additional panel of rubber wraps around the heel for abrasion resistance on top of the white vulcanised rubber outsole which features an additional panel around the front of the toes whilst underfoot a grip focused tread provides a high level of grip.
